Blue Rose Blestimonies was envisioned and developed over the last 3 years, during the devastating and grievous time of the COVID pandemic. During this time, I stumbled upon the unique and beautiful artistry of hand-applied, textile techniques on silk and cotton fabrics, paper, ceramics, and canvas. The more I learned about and practiced these beautiful textile techniques, the more convinced I was that they would be a beautiful and inspiring way to express grace, love, beauty, and blessings.

So with much prayer, faith, hard work, determination, and support from my family, especially my daughter; and a dear friend, Blue Rose Blestimonies, or simply Blestimonies was finally launched, locally, in April 2023.

What is Blestimonies? It is a bespoken and inspirational silk scarf, wearable accessories, and limited home decor small business with a quintessential and inspiring message that “you are graciously loved, and beautifully blessed by God.”

I create Blestimony scarves and other products with hand-applied, textile techniques such as alter ego dyeing, eco-printing, silk painting, water marbling (ebru), shibori (tye-dyeing), heat-fixing & rhinestones, fiber-etching, gelling with alcohol inks, as well as stenciling. I also create products using design elements that include poetry (my own), musings, scriptures, and nature photos.
