This beauty is dyed using burnt orange and yellow alter-ego silk dyes - leaving a shiny and deep orange color that is beautifully contrasted against the yellow, sheer silk backing. After dyeing, the scarf was steamed for several hours, washed/rinsed with fabric softener, hung dry, and ironed.
Care Instructions: Some silk dye run-off may occur during initial washings.Hand-wash, separately, with cold water and mild detergent. Add fabric softener when washing and/or rinsing. Gently wring and hang to dry. Use a hand-held steamer, or gently iron on a silk setting/wrong side to remove wrinkles. Store in a mesh or cloth bag, or hang on a velvet hanger. Because the scarf is hand-dyed some variations in color may be seen.
